Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can you bring dogs?
Dogs are alllowed at all events, provided they are properly controlled on a lead at all times.

2. I've got an advanced (pre-paid) ticket and cannot make it to the show, what can I do?
The ticket is transferrable at all events, but at Southport where tickets are cheaper you will have to pay the difference to the other events advanced ticket rate.

3. Are there on site toilets? Are they kept clean?
There are toilets and an attendant cleans them regularly throughout the day and restocks them with toilet paper etc.

4. What facilities are there for disabled visitors?
The showgrounds have accessible toilets and avenues and signage - if conditions are wet, we lay portable "Alu" roadways to give easy access. At all the venues there are some hard standing roads. There is separate forward disabled car parking near to the entrance/pay gates.

5. What if it rains? Will the ground be unwalkable and what about covered?
Roadway is laid and approximately 60% of the festival is undercover via marquees. Also Southport is grass on sand and freely drains.

6. Can you pay on the day and how?
We have facilities for cash, cheque and now credit/debit cards at the pay gates (most cards accepted).

7. Is there a cash machine/ATM on site?
No but we can offer cash back on debit cards using our debit card facilities at the gate.

8. Can I book securely on line?
Yes, online is the cheapest way to pay and is fully secured. Your details will be used for ordering purposes and will not be stored or passed onto any third parties.

9. Is there baby changing facilities/childrens creche?
No but sometimes some of the toilets have baby changing facilities or the first aid marquee can be used.

10. Are there plenty of seating areas?
Yes, we have plenty of tables and chairs with parasols nearby to keep you in the shade.

11. If the show is cancelled for whatever reason, do I receive a refund?
Yes we refund the ticket price on proof of purchase and return of tickets.

12. I use a wheelchair and need a carer to assist me, do I buy two tickets?
No you only need one, carer comes free, but you have to mention it when booking or at the gate.

13. Once I leave the grounds, can I come back in again?
Yes, but make sure you get a hand stamp from the gate.

14. Do you have medical facilities?
As responsible show operators we have first aid personnel on site.

15. Are all the shows sign posted?
All events are AA signposted.

16. Is there a bus stop outside the Southport show?
Yes buses 15, 42 and 44 drop you off near or outside the show (stanely high school).

17. Is ther a car park charge?
No we dont charge for car parking.

18. Can we buy a two day or three day ticket?
Yes but you have to contact the office on 01704 212734.

19. Is Campling / Caravanning Available?
No only for exhibitors.

20. Is there a bar and catering?
Yes at all events and there is also a sit down cafe.
