The Ginger plant is a perennial but is mostly grown as an annual. We look at some tips to grow ginger, can you grow ginger in containers.

Ginger can be planted in May and then it needs about 4 to 6 months to grow to about 4-5 feet in height after which you can harvest the ginger. In this video we also look at how a premature harvest of ginger looks like and ways you can avoid it. We also present to you the best tips for growing ginger.

Ginger root is easy to grow at home. Growing fresh ginger is probably the best thing you can do in your home garden. Although you can grow ginger indoors in bright light, I recommend you growing ginger outdoors in bright light.
